Venue Rules, Regulations & Safety Information
VENUE RULES, REGULATIONS & SAFETY INFORMATION
• Participants are expected to be present in the venue 30 minutes before the scheduled performance to re-register their attendance.
• The participant will receive an order number to perform, in which if the participant has been called for 3 times and not present (or on stage) then he/she will be considered as bow out/resign from the competition.
• Participants who are late to attend (in the registered category' schedule) are allowed to perform at the end of the ongoing category. However, late arrivals after the registered category' schedule, participants may perform but not be assessed.
• To maintain the concentration of the performers and the judges, it is expected to keep quiet in the competition room by not talking, walking or running around the room.
• Please put your cellphone/gadget on silent mode and do not receive phone calls in the room during the competition.
• For the shared convenience and to maintain health protocols in the competition room, the participants may only be accompanied by one companion and teacher.
• Apart from the committee, taking pictures or videos can only be done from the seats.
• While the performance is in progress, the room door will be closed and re-opened during breaks between performances.
It is not allowed to open the door by themselves.
• For the violin and vocal categories, participants must have a live accompaniment thereof a piano is provided at the venue, however the pianist / the accompanist is to be prepared independently by each participant.
• Pieces must be performed by memory. Omitt the repeat marks, except for Da Capo (D.C) and Dal Segno (D.S). If 1st and 2nd room, directly to 2nd room.
• The announcement of winners and distribution of awards will be arranged in such a way by the committee at the end of each category.
• These ground rules were created in lieu / subtitute of technical meetings following the live event standards and as guidelines agreed upon by participants for entering the competition.

Perform FREE / OWN Choice work or song within the time limit.
Reference:
Any work from all music period can be a Leader / Art Song in German / English /France / Italian / Indonesian or Aria Antique, Sacred Aria; Work from the repertoire listed in any music examination system syllabus such as ABRSM, LCM, TRINITY and else.

Age cut-off by 1 January 2023
Primary Class [ IDR 550k ]
15 years old & under (max. 4 minutes)
Intermediate Class [ IDR 600k ]
16 - 21 years old (max. 6 minutes)
Advance Class [ IDR 650k ]
22 years old & above (max. 8 minutes)

20th to 21th Century Class (1900s onwards)

Marking Criteria & Prize Structure
MARKING CRITERIA & PRIZE STRUCTURE
• The jury panel consists of professional pianists and educators in their fields.
In awarding, jury members will give mark based on which qualities and abilities demonstrated by the performer in areas of technique, intonation, tempo, tone quality, interpretation, musicality and performance as a whole.
• The following prizes will be awarded to participants in all categories:
Platinum Award: 96 points - above
Gold Award: 90 - 95 points
Silver Award: 83 - 89 points
Bronze Award: 73 - 82 points
Honorable Mention: 72 points - bellow
• There is no limit to the number of each award (individual assesement).
• Trophy and Certificate will be distributed to all participants and Cash Prize to selected highest scorer.

GENERAL RULES

- Registration deadline: Sunday, 5 November 2023
- Confirmation of time table and order number of each performance categories: Sunday, 12 November 2023

• The entry fee is non-refundable.
• Participants can take part in more than one class category and have to perform the work from memory.
• Registration is necessary for taking part of the competition, the application form is available here
• Please complete the data accurately, also attached the form with the following files: age document (birth certificate/pasport), proof of payment, and PDF repertoire (only for participants who perform their own choice piece)
• The decision of the juries will be final and will not open to further discussion. The committee will not accept any intervention during the event.
• A Jury member cannot vote for his/her own student. Therefore, the result of the score is taken from the average of the existing votes.
• The committee reserves the right to combine or divide any group classes depending on the numbers of participant in each class category.
• By submitting the registration form, participants agree to the General Rules of the competition.
